Russian athletes may be banned from competing in Brazil this August after the IAAF provisionally suspended their athletics federation last November.The IAAF made their decision following a report by a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) which alleged that Russia were involved in state-sponsored doping and mass corruption in the sport. More recently a report in the New York Times, based on information from the former head of Russias anti-doping laboratory, claimed that dozens of athletes - including 15 medallists - were involved in systematic doping at the Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi. Owen Farrell had a good Six Nations and has improved since then, and if Sarries are to win the game a lot of it will come down to how he steers the ship.What works for Saracens is that their ball carriers are powerful runners - such as Maro Itoje and the Vunipola brothers - and it grinds teams down to have to tackle one after the other. Once a team has been softened, thats when Farrell can unleash the dangerous finishers out wide.In defence they hurry the half-backs and put them under pressure to play rugby in the wrong half of the field, which leads to a lot of kicking to someone like Alex Goode, who is a really good footballer with a sense for when to go and when not to go. He links up well with his his wingers to punish sides who dont make touch with their clearance.
